A lovely room with huge dance floor. Although it does not appear so in these photos, I did feel that compared to the rest of the ship this room was perhaps a bit bland with too many pastel colours. Dining Room - Main Deck & Lido Café - Veranda Deck

The Dining Room on Main Deck is wonderful with a double height centre section and a 'Grand Staircase' aft, featuring an iron/gold sculpture by Carl B. Cabins - SAGA ROSE

SAGA ROSE has many different cabins in size, shape & layout. No modules here. All the bathrooms have been refurbished & very nice with a selection of toiletries. Soft furnishings in each cabin are more or less the same. Real keys for entry. Safes appear to be lockable boxes in a drawer. Library books are placed in each cabin & a pair of binoculars for use during the cruise, bathrobes too. Britannia Lounge - Veranda Deck

Fwd on Veranda Deck is the lovely Britannia Lounge with great views, comfy seating, an Italian marble dance floor and several Stephen Card paintings. To port aft of here is the North Cape Bar; again a lovely area with more Card paintings. SAGA ROSE on Deck & Views from

2 September 2008, was a very wet & very windy day, hence there was little opportunity for enjoying much of SAGA ROSE's lovely teak decks. One got lashed with rain anywhere except when huddled under the lifeboats; even then it wasn't rainproof. Unfortunately this means there are few photos, but quite a number of CRYSTAL SYMPHONY berthed at Cruise Terminal 2. Also the tug DHB DOUGHTY who remained midships for most of the day presumably ensuring SAGA ROSE remained alongside in the wind.
