Some of the Murals and Bas-Reliefs along the Grand Hallways of decks 2 & 3 of Queen Mary 2, October 2009 Gonzalez & Harms' 4 bas-reliefs of the Continents surrounding the Atlantic Ocean, Verre Eglomisé [gilding on glass] by Bolae' Glass Studios & the 4 Seasons bas-reliefs. Grand Lobby/Atrium - Queen Mary 2

The Grand Lobby:- Deck 2 - The Pursers Office stb, Tour Office, Future Cruise Sales [fwd of the area], Pianist to the Empire Casino portside Deck 3 :- Mayfair Shops [Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar to stb aft of lobby, see separate album] The Atrium extends up to Deck 7, with some interior cabins having a 'view'. The glass floor in Kings Court into the Atrium is no longer [removed Nov 2005 to make way for more seating]. John McKenna's sheet bronze, stainless steel framed, bas-relief, 20' x 23' [6m x 7m] is the focal point. Winter Garden - Queen Mary 2

The Winter Garden now seems to be the venue for 'Art Auctions' & was always full of junk. Some of the auctions however appeared to be well attended - perhaps for the free tipple on offer? Various photos around Kings Court during the voyage - casual dining, Deck 7 Midships. Breakfast, lunch, late-night buffet, beverages etc 24/7.
